Dinner and Bikes East Coast tour stops in Savannah June 29

DinnerAndBikeslittlephotoJoin the Savannah Bicycle Campaign at the Sentient Bean on Sunday, June 29 from 7-10 p.m. for Dinner and Bikes a traveling road show of vegan food and bicycle inspiration.

Dinner and Bikes will feature three prominent bicycle and food advocates. Joshua Ploeg will prepare a vegan and gluten free buffet dinner, Elly Blue will make a presentation based on her book Bikenomics and the economic case for bicycling, and Joe Biel will show either a program of short films or his new feature-length documentary, Aftermass, about the history of bicycle activism in Portland. The event is followed with a book signing and time for questions, discussion of local issues, and perusing the traveling bookstore.

Tickets are $15 at the door. Admission includes dinner. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Savannah Bicycle Campaign.

We invite you to enjoy food, beverages, and the company of your fellow cyclists on Tuesday, Jan 21. Join our casually-paced ride leaving Baldwin Park at 5:30 p.m. or meet us at the Bean at 6 p.m. Lights are required and helmets are strongly recommended!
