Elizabeth Yarnall is the Interim Executive Director of Bike Walk Savannah: working to make walking and biking one of the best ways to move around our city through safety advocacy, collaborative planning, and educational events. Her mission in life is to promote healthier, more sustainable and more economically-vibrant communities through active travel and thoughtful community development.
As a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, Elizabeth is committed to faithfully serve the residents of and visitors to Savannah with integrity and expand choice and opportunity for all persons. She brings experience in non-profit economic development, transportation planning, as well as years of planning specifically for active modes to Bike Walk Savannah. Elizabeth holds a Master’s in City and Regional Planning and a BSPH in Environmental Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a proud alumnus of NCSSM: Go Unicorns!
In her spare time, she loves playing video games with her husband, exploring nature with her family, making great food to share, reading on the beach and hauling her kids around by bike.
