Formerly the Historic Savannah Bikefest, the Savannah Century will be a weekend of fun for the local cycling world. With many ride options, this is a showcase of rides here in the Coastal Empire for bike tourists far and wide.
Saturday’s ride starts at 9am in Black Creek and is a 31 mile loop. Sunday start is 8am from Savannah Station. and includes 25, 37, 56, 69, and 103 mile options.

They still need a few more volunteers (see below for duties). Volunteers receive a complimentary weekend of riding, a ride tee shirt, a lunch on Sunday and an invitation to the reception held at Savannah River Inn on Saturday night. Sunday – Standby sag driver – in case our two drivers get overwhelmed (stationed at a mid-route sag stop to pick up stranded bicyclists – need pickup truck or van)
Sunday- Motorcycle moto-pace for century riders (sedately drive the route ahead of the lead pack)
Sunday- SAG #1 – Set up rest stop at the Nature Preserve boat ramp (8:00 until 9:30 approx) Also warn cyclists at metal bridge!
